The Nameless Bond: This is a Mary Poppins Fanfic about the unspoken bond between Mary and Bert. On the whole a really nice story, a little bittersweet but written with an intention to amuse rather than evoke any kind of deeper emotion. Void of dialogue, the fanfic paints a picture of affection through clever, minimal writing and omits the over emotional dribble that is encountered so often in amateur fan-fiction. Convincing one shot that imitates P.L. Travers well without sacrificing any of the original Mary Poppins' credibility that is often lost when a fan writer romanticises a relationship between two characters.
